Milltown State Park, UM partner for bird banding event

MISSOULA, Mont. — The early bird gets the worm on June 25.

Milltown State Park and the University of Montana's Bird Ecology Lab are partnering for a bird banding event in Missoula.

Get an up-close view and learn why biologists capture and band birds.

Attendees will learn how to identify different species as well.

The action starts at 7:30 a.m. at the Milltown Confluence.
