On Monday, MSU men's basketball added Jaqari Miles from Valencia, California.

As a high school senior, Miles averaged 16.5 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game.

The following is a press release from MSU Athletics:

Montana State added talent to its guard line on Monday, signing versatile Jaqari Miles from Valencia, California.

As a senior at West Ranch High School in 2022-23, the Valencia, California, product averaged 16.5 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game. His squad finished 29-3 and was nationally-ranked. The 6-4, 180 lb combo guard also played at Crespi Carmelite High School prior to his two seasons at West Ranch.

"We are very excited to add Jaqari to our Bobcat backcourt," Logie said. "Jaqari is a powerful guard who can play on and off the ball because of his ability to shoot and pass the basketball. Because of those attributes, Jaqari can really affect winning, as evidenced by his high school teams 29-3 record and Top-25 national ranking while playing a highly competitive schedule in southern California. Jaqari has a very bright future and we are excited to help him execute that vision."
