BOZEMAN, Mont. — On Wednesday, the Big Sky Conference announced Montana State University and University of Montana football will play conference games aired on ESPN 2 this season.
UM will travel to Moscow to face University of Idaho Vandals in the Kibbie Dome on Oct. 14, kickoff will come at 6:30 p.m.
Last season, the then #3 Griz fell to the Vandals at Washington-Grizzly Stadium 23-30.
Idaho owns the all-time series with Montana 56-30, however the Griz have not fallen in Moscow since 1995.
MSU will travel to Sacramento to take on Sacramento State at Hornets Stadium Oct. 21, kickoff will come at 6:30 p.m.
The last time the Bobcats faced off against the Hornets, MSU fell in Bozeman to Sacramento State 21-34 in 2019.
The Bobcats and Hornets have matched up 10 times since 2005 with MSU owning the series 8-2, however Sacramento State have won the last two matchups.
